Project Details
I-75 from the Ohio State Line north five miles, to just past the Erie Road interchange will be reconstructed over the course of two construction seasons. Construction began in June of 2019 on the reconstruction of the northbound lanes. Both vertical and horizontal alignment changes were made to the roadway to accommodate a new enclosed median drainage system along with barrier wall as well as to bring the design to current rideability and safety standards. Work on the northbound lanes was completed in December of 2020 with traffic returned to a normal traffic pattern prior to the holiday season. Season 2 construction resumed in April of 2020 and was completed in November 2020. The finishing touches wrapped up in July of 2021.
