Project Details
Construction of a new Centralized Deicing Facility, ramp tower, and associated taxiways in the location of the old L.C. Smith terminal and apron footprint that was recently demolished. The new aircraft deicing facility is designed to help carriers cycle gates more quickly so passengers can spend less time waiting on the tarmac and in hold-rooms. Dan’s Excavating in partnership with Ajax Paving started the project in April of 2020 and was completed in November of 2020.
